A blood glucose level averaging around 18 mmol/l(333 mg/dl) is very dangerous for people with type 2 Diabetes and that number is what’s haunting my blood sugars currently.
A year ago i had my diabetes controlled at around 5-6mmol/l(333mg/dl) on average. I was exercising, eating healthy, and was enjoying life. This will be a Week 0, Day 1 update for my starting blood sugars, I’ll update my new numbers and what certain foods i eat every once or couple weeks to keep you up to date.
Ideally, people with type 2 diabetes should have a blood glucose level of around 5mmol/l when waking up in the morning, and under 6.7mmol/l two hours after meals.
